>By aligning the body and removing restrictions in soft tissues and joints, the body will learn how to move as it was intended. ###Philosophy

Dr. Greaux is a movement-minded therapist. Her treatment, care, and home exercises are intended to not only help with symptoms, but to enhance function affected by previous injuries and work-related tasks. She has learned long ago that the site of chronic pain is usually not the root of the problem. While pain management is addressed during her sessions, she aims to find the root of the cause through various knowledge gained in movement therapy.

She also believes she is 50% of the solution. As long as her patients put in 100%, she will put 100% in guiding her patients to moving better. This can be a slow or fast process, depending on compliance, previous injuries, and current activities. Borrowing the philosophy of the chiropractic profession, the body is the ultimate healer. By aligning the body and removing restrictions in soft tissues and joints, the body will learn how to move as it was intended.

Movement Analysis

Dr. Greaux has an obsession with conferences, workshops, and classes related to all movement. She’s traveled as far as Germany, UK, Saskatchewan, and East Coast to learn from the most respected researchers and providers in cycling, running, golf, and general movement. Her goal is to:

-Identify movement dysfunction -Treat scar tissue, fixated joints, and poorly moving fascia, muscles, nerves, tendons, and ligaments -Guide the client to achieving optimal movement through education and home exercises. -She currently uses technology during her bike fits and run analysis to observe quality of movement and identify areas that need work.

Education and Athletic Achievements

Before obtaining her chiropractic training, Dr. Greaux received a B.S. in Psychology from Brown where she played on the Division I nationally ranked varsity soccer team. Her athletic accomplishments include All-Ivy, All-New England, and All-Northeast Region.

In 2001 she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic West specializing in diversified and extremity adjusting techniques.

Now a cyclist, photographer, and outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Greaux draws upon her athletic and academic backgrounds to provide expert support and guidance in reaching her patients’ goals. As a strong believer in the mind-body connection, she teaches patients how to listen to their instincts when it comes to their bodies.
